We are not a broker. We are not a trader. We purchase directly from producers, assume all commercial and financial risk of the export operation, and manage the full export process — from product selection and regulatory adaptation to logistics, documentation, and in-market trade marketing support. Neither the producer nor the distributor needs to manage any of it. That is our role.
Our model exists to solve a structural access problem: Spain has thousands of outstanding small and mid-size food producers whose products are largely invisible outside Spain. This is not a quality problem. It is an access problem. RITA exists to solve it — as a true export partner that assumes risk, scales sales, and builds lasting market presence alongside producers and local partners.
Our core value proposition: RITA gives outstanding Spanish food producers access to international markets they could never reach alone — and gives local partners (distributors or retailers) access to Spain's finest products they would never find themselves. We then stay alongside both partners through the post-sale journey: building the brand, scaling sales through trade marketing, and turning a first shipment into a sustainable, growing business.

We physically visit and evaluate Spanish producers against a rigorous set of criteria: quality, price, flavour profile, production capacity, shelf life, export readiness, and fit for the target market. We then identify the producer whose product best matches the specific needs of our local partner — in terms of positioning, format, and commercial expectations. Only the right producer for the right client makes it through.
We buy directly from the producer, assuming all financial risk. We manage packaging and labelling adaptation for the target market, obtain all food safety and regulatory certifications required under the legislation of the destination country, and prepare the complete export documentation package.
Full export management — freight forwarding, customs documentation, and shipping under CIF terms — delivered to our local partner's designated port. We work with specialist forwarders experienced in Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asian routes.
We stay alongside our partners — both producer and local partner — through the entire post-sale journey. This includes product branding and trade marketing to scale sales velocity in-market. Sell-through data is monitored continuously. This is what turns a first shipment into a growing, recurring business.
We enter markets where Spanish products are trusted but underrepresented — where there is real demand and real distribution infrastructure. Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia are both core strategic priorities for RITA.
Every market we operate in is served by a carefully selected, specialised local partner (distributor or retailer) — chosen with the rigorous commercial judgement built over seven years of senior-level export management.
